Privacy policy — Water Tracker

Last updated: 9 October 2026

Water Tracker ("the app", called Vandtracker in Danish) is made by KodeBy. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app.

Summary

The app does not collect, send or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your phone.

What the app stores

This information is stored only in the app's private storage on your device. The app has no internet permission and cannot send it anywhere. The developer never receives it.

Backups

If you have turned on Android backup for your Google account, Android may include the app's data in your device backup, as it does for other apps. That backup is handled by Google under your Google account settings and the Google Privacy Policy. You can turn backup off in your phone's settings.

Permissions

Exporting your data

You can export all your logged drinks to a CSV file under Settings → Export to CSV. The file is saved where you choose, and the app does not send it anywhere.

Third parties

The app contains no ads, analytics, crash reporting or tracking, and no third-party services that receive your data.

Deleting your data

Settings → Delete all data removes all drinks, goals, your profile and settings from the app. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android Settings, also deletes all of its data from your device.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.

Health disclaimer

The app's water goal is general guidance and not medical advice. If you have a kidney or heart condition, or have been told to limit fluids, follow your doctor's advice.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new date.
